JustRite Papercraft June Release Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 2 of the JustRite June release.  Today there are 2 sets being shown - Get Well Labels Twenty and Chicken Soup Labels Four.  These sets are perfect for those Get Well type of cards that we all need on a regular basis (unfortunately).

For my card I chose to use Chicken Soup Labels Four.

For my card base I googled "tea cup" photos, found the one that I liked, traced it onto my cardstock, then cut it out.  Then I chose the JustRite Damask Wallpaper Background and stamped it onto the teacup using Versamagic Lilac Posies.  On the top and bottom portion of the teacup I diecut Spellbinders Classic Edges Two in white and purple cardstock.

The focal point of my card is the sentiment from JustRite Chicken Soup Labels Four.  I used Memento Markers (Pear Tart and Grape Jelly) to color my image, stamped it onto the cardstock, and diecut with Spellbinders Labels Four.

Here are the other JustRite designers using Chicken Soup Labels Four and Get Well Labels Twenty.  Be sure to check them out for some great inspiration.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for more releases.

Good morning everyone.  Before we get started I want to let you know that JustRite is having an awesome sale right now - 20% off all Spellbinder dies!!!  How cool is that!  Be sure to get those wish  lists out and start shopping.

Welcome to Day 1 of the JustRite June Release.  Today's set is called "Let Your Soul Sing".

When I saw the sentiment "Let Your Soul Sing" I knew that I wanted to pair this set with the JustRite Shabby Music Background - I thought it was a perfect match!

The Shabby Music Background stamp is inked with Versamagic Sahara Sand and Memento Tuxedo Black. The butterflies are part of "Let Your Soul Sing" set, stamped with Versamagic Pink Petunia and handcut.  I stamped the Shabby Music Background again using Versamagic Wheat, diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.  Then I stamped the sentiment from "Let Your Soul Sing" with Memento Rich Cocoa on top of the Shabby Music Background.  To finish off my card I added a pretty pink bow.

Here are the other JustRite designers also showing some amazing projects today using Let Your Soul Sing.

Happy Memorial Day!!

Good morning everyone.  Happy Memorial Day.  I hope everyone takes some time today to thank a Service Person.  Without them we would not have the freedoms that we all enjoy and take for granted.  My grandfather served during World War II and lost one of his legs when he stepped onto a landmine.  He never let that stop anything he ever wanted to do.  He was a great man!!

Today I have a cute birthday card that I made for my father-in-law.  As I'm sure you can tell, he is a golfer!!

The card base is a step card that I found instructions for on Splitcoaststampers.  The golfer, golf clubs, flag, golf cart, and grass were all made using my Cricut and the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge.

The sentiments are from JustRite Anchors Away stamp set.  The banner is diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels and Banners die and "Dad" is diecut using Spellbinders Labels Trio.

Along with the card I also made some date-nut bread as his gift.  He always says that I'm his "favorite" daughter-in-law when I make the date-nut bread.  Even though I'm his "only" daughter-in-law I still know that he appreciates this.  I lucked out when I married my husband because I got some awesome in-laws!!

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  I hope you have a great Memorial Day!!

Get Well

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a sweet Get Well card perfect for brightening anyone's day.
To begin - I diecut several layers of Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 and inked the edges with Versamagic Pink Grapefruit.  I also diecut 2 layers using Spellbinders Labels 8 and also inked those edges with Pink Grapefruit.

The cute butterfly is diecut from decorative paper using Spellbinders Wonderful Wings.  The sentiment is from JusRite Floral Thank You and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 20.  The mat beneath the sentiment was diecut using Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags Two.

Once again I used my favorite Spellbinders die - Bitty Blossoms - to make the cute little flowers and then added some white pearls for the centers.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Have a great day!

Bitty Blossom Candle

Good morning everyone.  Today I have another great candle to show you.  I love taking plain white candles and turning them into gorgeous home decor pieces.  With the JustRite background stamps it is easier than ever to decorate plain white candles.

To "stamp" onto a candle I chose the Grand Damask Background stamp from JustRite Papercraft.  I stamped the image onto white tissue paper using Memento Tuxedo Black.  Next I used a heat gun to "glue" the tissue paper onto the candle.  The heat gun actually melts the tissue paper into the candle making it appear that it is stamped directly onto the candle.

To decorate the candle base, I used some white lace, gathered it with a needle and thread then tied it to the bottom of the candle.  I also used some tacky glue to keep the lace in place.

The flowers were made using the Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms die.  I am so loving this die.  I was very intimidated with the Bitty Blossoms die when I first got it.  Once I made a few of the flowers and got some tips from my friend Eva Dobilas, I was no longer intimidated.  It's very easy to use and the final results are gorgeous.  I've posted a mini step-by-step tutorial of using the Bitty Blossoms.  It can be seen here.  After the flowers were assembled I added some glitter to the tops to give some extra bling.

To finish it off, I added some pretty pink ribbon along the top edge of the candle.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  I hope you have a great day!

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day 5

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 5 of the JustRite May Release.  Today's sets are designed by Samantha Walker - All Boy and Pattern Basics.

I don't do a lot of boy cards or boy scrapbook pages because I have 2 daughters and 2 nieces - not much need for boy stuff.  I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest so decided to give it a try.

The card base is made with Spellbinders Grand Labels 23.  The lion's mane is made from Kraft cardstock using Spellbinders Dahlia.  The edges are inked with Memento Rich Cocoa.  The lion's cute face is made with a variety of circle dies.

I chose a few different sentiments from the "All Boy" set.  "It's A Boy" is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with JustRite Vintage Label and Banners.  "Oh Boy" is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and handcut.

Here are the other JustRite designers also showing some really great projects using the new Samantha Walker stamps:

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day 4

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 4 of the JustRite May release.  Today there are 3 stamp sets being showcased.  All of them have a travel theme.  They are The Journey Background, Explore Vintage Labels Four and Monogram Your Journey.

Once I saw these travel themed stamp sets I immediately thought of a suitcase.  This would make a cute card/gift card holder for someone getting ready to take a trip.

First I stamped The Journey Background onto cream cardstock using Memento Rich Cocoa and then colored with Copic markers.  Once this was colored then I made the "suitcase".  The handles were made using Spellbinders Long Rectangles.

The hang tag has a sentiment from Explore Vintage Labels Four, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with Spellbinders Labels One.

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day 3

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite May release.  Today's set is a background stamp called "Botanical Postcard".

I have 2 versions of my card today.  I couldn't decided which I like the most so I decided to post both of them.  This background stamp has so many possibilities.

For the first version I chose to only stamp the Botanical Postcard with Memento Rich Cocoa and mat onto black layers.
For the second version I stamped the Botanical Postcard background with Memento Rich Cocoa, matted the layers with black cardstock then added color using Faber Castell Geletos.

The flowers were made using one of my favorite Spellbinder's dies - Bitty Blossoms.  The sentiment is from the JustRite Vintage Banners set and diecut using Vintage Label and Banners.

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day 2

Good morning.  Welcome to Day 2 of JustRite May Release.  Today's set is called Birthday Vintage Labels Four.

Today I decided to try a different type of card - it's called a Concertina Fold Card and I found the instructions on Splitcoaststampers.  It was fun to make and I'm sure I'll be trying more in the future.

I used Elegant Fronds Background stamped with Memento Canteloupe to make the card panels.  I then used a Martha Stewart border punch along the top edges of the card and added string pearls.

The focal point for the card is from Birthday Vintage Labels Four, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Canteloupe, then diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels Four.

JustRite Papercraft May Release Day 1

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day One of the JustRite May Release.  Today's set is called Irises Vintage Labels Four and comes as a cling set.

I decided to make a birthday card for my mom using the Irises Vintage Labels Four.  As you might notice, my mom's favorite color is purple which made this stamp set perfect.

My card base is dark purple cardstock diecut  using Spellbinders Stately Circles.  The other purple layer is stamped with JustRite Floral Flourishes Background.  The focal point of the card is made using the large image from Irises Vintage Labels Four, colored with copics and diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels Four die.  The sentiment is also included in Irises Vintage Labels Four and diecut with Spellbinders French Frills.

Here are links to the other JustRite designers also showcasing Irises Vintage Labels Four today:
