All Grown Up

Good Morning everyone. Today I am playing along with the Friday challenge over at JustRite Inspiration. They have different challenges every Friday. This week the challenge was to make a "Scrappy Page". The best part about this challenge is that you could win a $50 gift certificate to buy some cool JustRite stamps!!! So now you can get scrapbook pages done and get a chance to win free stuff at the same time. How cool would that be!!!!!

My true love with papercrafting is scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years. I love to take just a regular photo and create "a story" with it on a piece of paper. This page shows my 9 year old daughter "all dressed up". She is growing up soooo fast.

For my page title, I used the Horizontal & Vertical wood stamper (JustRite)along with the 95 point Curlz font (JustRite). The JustRite font ensembles are perfect for scrapbook titles. After I stamped them, I diecut them using the Spellbinders Labels 4.

The above photo shows a closeup of my sentiment which describes how I feel about this photo of Emily. This border & center comes in the "Stitched With Love" set (JustRite).

My paperdoll was made using my Cricut Expression along with the Paper Dolls Dressup cartridge. Since I am not very good at drawing faces, I purchased face stamps from Peachy Keen stamps. It completed the paper doll.

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping in for a visit. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

What a sweet page! I love that background paper and I love the Just Rite sentiment with the button trim. My first thought was paperdolls. Love it!
