Friendship...

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the last day of the JustRite June release.  Today's release set is called "Seeds of Summer" and comes as a clear stamp set.

I found the template for this adorable little watering can on Splitcoaststampers.  I thought it would be the perfect project to showcase "Seeds Of Summer" set.  Once I got the watering can assembled I had to decided how to decorate it.  It really wasn't big enough to put anything into it so I decided to make a sign with a sentiment from "Seeds Of Summer".  It is stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves, diecut with Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles and airbrushed with copics.

The cute green border along the bottom is from "Starburst Medallion Labels" with some yellow stickles for the centers.  The sentiment - Heartfelt Thanks - is also included in "Seeds Of Summer".  All of the flowers were white so I just applied ink to the edges to give them some color.

Here is a look at the entire "Seeds Of Summer" set -

Welcome to London

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to another JustRite June Release - get ready to fly to London!!  The release sets today are all based on London, just in time for the Summer Olympics.   I don't think I will ever be going to London but I can live vicariously through one of my childhood friends who lives in London.

For my card today I decided to try making a step card.  I've never tried these because I thought they might be difficult to make - boy, was I wrong!!  These are very easy to make and the effect is awesome.  I'm sure you will be seeing more variations of the step card on my blog in the future.

My card uses 2 of the new London themed JustRite sets - London Background and Greetings From London.  The center of my card uses the London Background cut to size, then "Old Ben" on the right side was handcut out of the London Background and placed on the side.  All of the other stamped images are included in "Greetings From London".  The plaid strip along the bottom was stamped using Cozy Plaid Background stamp.

Here is a look at the side version of my step card.  I love the dimension that a step card gives to all of the images.

Zoe's First Christmas

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite June releases.  Today's release set is Christmas Vintage Labels One and matches the new JustRite Custom Vintage Label and Banners.  JustRite is making our creating so easy by providing matching dies to their stamps!!

Today I have another scrapbook page to show you.  This is the second scrapbook page in less than a week!!  Maybe I will eventually get caught up with my photos.

This adorable little girl is our Jack Russell Terrier named Zoe.  She was only 6 months old at Christmas.  My daughter set up a photo shoot to capture her first Christmas.  For this page I used several JustRite Stamps - my goal is to get everyone to use stamps for projects other than cards!!

**  The Christmas Swag along the top of the page is from "Christmas Trimmings", colored with Copics and handcut.
**  The decorative piece between the swag is from "Christmas Vintage Labels One", stamped with Memento Cottage Ivy, Tuxedo Black, and Rhubarb Stalk - then I cut out the individual sections to layer.  The bells were heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
**  All of the swirly words scattered around the page are from "Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments" and then handcut
**  The gold snowflakes with Zoe's name stamped inside are from "Christmas Vintage Labels One", heat embossed with gold embossing powder and handcut.
**  The Christmas trees along the bottom of the page are from "O' Christmas Tree" and diecut with Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Nested Lacey Pennants.

Season's Greetings

Good morning - welcome to Day 2 of the JustRite June Releases.  Today's sets are SnowFall Background and Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments.  I am LOVING the JustRite Background stamps!!  They make creating so much easier - no more having to search for the perfect paper.

I love the color blue when making Christmas/Winter projects.  I even have blue lights on my Christmas Tree - my kids have been trying to convert me to multi colored lights for years but I won't budge.  I told them that they can use multi colored lights when they have their own house - I just like the soft look of blue Christmas lights.

I stamped the Snowfall Background using Memento Danube Blue.  The sentiment "Season's Greetings" is included in the Large Fancy Holiday Sentiments set and then handcut.  I love the swirly font of this set - 100% my style!!  The Christmas Ornament is from the Merry and Bright set and diecut with Spellbinders 2010 Heirloom Ornament die.

Here is a look at all of the awesome JustRite stamps I used to create my card.

Congratulations Heather!!!

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 1 of JustRite June Releases.   Today's releases are Thank You Labels Twenty and Large Fancy Sentiments.  These 2 sets are going to be must-have's for any papercrafter.  The sentiments are beautiful!!

Today I decided to make a scrapbook page of my oldest daughter's recent college graduation.  She earned 3 degrees in 5 years - Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Paralegal.  She did this while working full time also.  We are extremely proud of her!!

I created my own background paper by stamping the Elegant Fronds background twice using Memento Tuxedo Black.  The designs along each side of Heather's photo were created using the new JustRite Thank You Labels Twenty set, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, diecut with Spellbinders Labels 20 and colored with copics.  The sentiment "Congratulations" is also included in the Thank You Labels Twenty set.  The cute little "swirly" designs on the purple pieces are included in the Large Fancy Sentiments set.  The graduation cap is included in the Summer Words set.

Here is a closer look at the beautiful designs of Thank You Labels Twenty and Elegant Fronds Background.

JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge #074

Good morning everyone.  Can you believe that today is June 1st?  This year is going by so fast.  Today also happens to be my birthday - Happy Birthday to me :)  Not much celebrating today other than spreading mulch in my flowerbeds.  I started it yesterday and will complete it today prior to the heavy rains we are expecting this weekend.  The mulch looks so nice and now I won't have as many weeds to pick out of my flowers - I hate picking weeds!!!

Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday challenge - this week the challenge is to create a vintage masculine project.  I decided to make a magnetic bookmark for my husband for Father's Day.

I found the instructions for these magnetic bookmarks on Splitcoaststampers here.  These instructions were very easy to follow and I love the idea.  These make quick and easy gifts.

My images are included in the "Anchors Away" clear stamp set from JustRite Papercraft, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and diecut with JustRite Custom Oval Medallion Labels and Spellbinders Classic Circles.  The ribbon attaching the front and back together is from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

This photo shows the bookmark marking a spot in my husband's favorite catalog - Cabela's - and marking one of his favorite subjects - boating.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Be sure to check out the JustRite blog to see more inspiration and to play along with the challenges - you could win some really great stamps!!
