Monogrammed Box

Happy Friday morning everyone!!! It is a beautiful day (except for the snow that we got last night!!) The trees do look really pretty with snow on them but it is SNOW - which I don't care for.

Today I decided to play along with Splitcoaststampers Holiday Tutorial Blitz. They are having some really cool tutorials so be sure to check them out.

If you would like to make one of these boxes, go to the tutorial here. My box is made from paper called "Peppermint Twist" by Murdock Country Creations. This paper is so cool especially if you don't know how or don't have the time to make your own polished stone paper. If you would like to purchase some - go here for contact information.

I used the Spellbinders Square Nestabilities to make my opening. I stamped my monogram onto vellum using the "NEW" 2" square wood stamper, 2" Decorative Frames Borders, and the Curlz Font Ensemble from JustRite Stampers. These new sets will be available mid-November. These new stamps are going to make the JustRite Stamps even more versatile because they can be interchanged with some of the round stamps.

For the box top, I used one of the new centers from the new Just A Note Center & Border set, and diecut several scallop layers using the Spellbinders Classic Scallop Nestabilities. Each layer has pop dots to add lots of dimension. To finish off the box top, I used the Martha Stewart Loops border punch and Lime Green Stickles.

Here is a sneak peak at what these new sets look like.
Also be sure to check out the JustRite Stampers blog for a chance to win blog candy and to see all of the new stamp releases.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
