Golf Birthday Card

Good Morning everyone.  Today I have a birthday card that I made for my father-in-law.  For those of you that may not know this, I married into a golf family.  My husband, father-in-law, brother-in-law & sister-in-law are all golfers.  I have never given it a try but they seem to really enjoy it.  Looks boring to me.  Oh well they may think that blogging is boring - each to their own I guess.

The golf bag image is colored with Copics and diecut with Spellbinders Petite Ovals Nestabilities.  The golf balls on the sides were created by embossing white cardstock with the Cuttlebug Mesh embossing folder and a circle punch.  The "grass" along the border was created with the Martha Stewart Icicles border punch.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Have a great day!

Supplies:

Stamps:  Inkadinkado Golf Bag, JustRite Stampers 15 point Times Roman Font

Paper:  Core'dinations, DCWV

Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa,  Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers (G24, G29, G12, C3, R05)

Accessories:  Spellbinders Petite Ovals Nestabilities, Spellbinders Labels Trio, Martha Stewart Icicles border punch, Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder, Cuttlebug Mesh embossing folder, small circle punch

I had a chuckle at your story about golfers and they probably think blogging is boring!! *giggle* Personally I don't get golf AT ALL! It is the perfect card for golfers though - love all the detailing!!

Wow Angelea, this is so beautiful! So masculine. This for me was a challenge too! Happy to see you played along with us at The Treehouse. Hope to see you again next Thursday for another fun Treehouse Challenge!

I'm going to have to copy this card for my husbands birthday later this month. He's an avid golfer and I think your creation of the golf balls is genious
