As I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do, I decided to use the sketch and do a Scrapbook page instead of a card. Sketches are very easy to adjust from card size to layout size.
When I saw the scallop border on this sketch I knew that the page needed a water photo. This photo is of my two daughters - Heather & Emily - last summer as we vacationed on Moosehead Lake in Maine. The water was calm and they looked so peaceful sitting on the dock looking over the lake. Even though there are 11 years age difference between them, they are amazingly close.
My scallop edge was made using the Martha Stewart Traditional Scallop border punch. Next I used the Bazzill In Stitch'z templates to stitch the vertical lines from the sketch.
For my sentiment, I chose the designer center from the Romantic Sentiments set by JustRite Stampers. The border is from the Round Decorative Frame Border set also by JustRite Stampers. The layers are diecut using Spellbinders Classic Circle & Pinking Circle Nestabilities. I love how these stamp sets can be interchanged making endless possibilities.
The clouds were made using the Spellbinders Labels 6 and then embossed using the Cuttlebug Swirls embossing folder.
Aren't these little girl punches adorable!!! I'm not sure who makes the punch. I have had it for quite some time. I just thought that it fit the theme of my page perfectly.
To create my page title, I chose the Curlz Font Ensemble by JustRite Stampers. I seem to pull out this font more often than any other font. I just love the playful look of it.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. Have a wonderful day!!!
