2Sketches4You challenge

This week on the 2Sketches4You blog, the sketch is sponsored by JustRite Stampers. Now anyone who reads my blog knows how much I love my JustRite Stamps. It is so easy to make a personalized card for anyone or for any occasion.

When I first saw this sketch, I thought to myself "How am I going to make a card with this!!" It looked very complex and hard to do. But once I got going it really was very easy. I decided to make an anniversary card for my mom & dad (don't look mom!!!)who will be celebrating their anniversary on October 30.

My card base is 6" x 6". The black panels are 1 3/4" wide and each is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

My sentiment is a border from the Wedding Stamp Ensemble and is diecut using the Spellbinders Pinking Circle Nestabilities. It is matted onto the Lattice Pendant (also from Spellbinders). The lattice pendant was sprayed with V2 Vellum Adhesive and covered with Crystal Glitter. The corner pieces are also from the Lattice Pendant set and also glittered in the same way. The "44" is from the Curlz Font Ensemble.

The "Mom & Dad" are from the Curlz Font Ensemble and diecut using the Spellbinders Labels Trio.

So if you look at a sketch and think that it may be too hard, just give it a shot. It may be easier than you think and it could end up being one of your favorite cards.

Thanks for stopping in today.
