It is never too early to start making Christmas Cards. I don't send too many handmade cards simply because I wait too long before I start making them. Maybe this year will be different. One can always hope, right.
For today's card, I am playing along with the 2Sketches4You challenge. You can check it out here
I started out with some polka dot paper from American Crafts. I love the traditional Christmas colors in this paper. Next I cut a red mat and a green mat and added some American Crafts ribbon that matches the paper. I made the seperate bow and attached it to the ribbon.
For the pointsettia, I stamped the image 3 times using Memento Black Tuxedo. I colored each image using Copic Markers. I kept one image whole and then cut the remaining 2 large pointsettia's and pop dotted them on top of the first one. I applied yellow stickles to the flower centers.
I stamped the "Season's Greeting" using Martha Stewart Clear Gift Tag Stamps and applied Kaiser rhinestones below.
The holly is cut using an EK Success punch and added red stickles for the berries.
That's it, very simple Christmas card and very fast to put together.
Thanks for stopping in today. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more inspiration.
