CPS129

Today's card is inspired by the sketch challenge at CPS. I don't normally do long narrow cards but I think this one came out nice.

My card base is Worldwin Crimson Red with a layer of ivory cardstock and a layer of Cosmo Cricket Oh Joy: Mitten Mitten. Next I added a narrow strip of ivory cardstock.

The pinecone image is from Inkadinkado as is the "Merry Christmas" sentiment. Each stamped image uses Memento Rich Cocoa ink. To give the look of glittery snow on my pinecones I added White Sparkling Polymark Dimensional Fabric Paint. The images are diecut using Spellbinders Classic Ovals with the brown mat diecut using Spellbinders Classic Scallop Ovals.

The final step is to add Kaiser rhinestones below my sentiment.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. Please feel free to leave comments to let me know that you are out there and any suggestions of what you might like to see on my blog.
Supplies:
Stamps: Inkadinkado
Paper: Worldwin, Cosmo Cricket
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Spellbinders Classic & Scallop Ovals, Kaiser rhinestones, Polymark Dimensional Fabric Paint, pop dots, corner rounder

Marge, your card was lovely. Thank you for sending it to me. I am definately going to "lift" the embossed star idea.

The pinecones cut in an oval is a lovely variation of the original sketch. What a nice Christmas card.
