Birthday Girl

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love anything Paisley. This paisley design is from Doodlebug Designs - Cherry Chocolate Paisley. The colors in this design work so well together. The card base measures 5" x 5". Each paisley square measures approximately 2 1/4" x 2 1/4".

I CASE'd this card sketch from Denise's (peanutbee) post here. When I read her blog, I knew that I had to make a card with this sketch. It is so simple yet beautiful.

My stamped phrase is from the Birthday Wishes set from JustRite Stampers. I chose to use only the center however this set also has some really nice borders. I stamped the phrase using Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid. I then diecut it using the Spellbinders Pinking Circles Nestabilities. Each mat is also cut using the Pinking Circle Nestabilities. Each mat is adhered to the next one using popdots to give dimension to my card.

To finish my card, I added Kaiser rhinestones to the stamped phrase as well as two corners of the card.

There you have it, a simple and beautiful birthday card.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
