JustRite December Release Day 4

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the final day of the JustRite Papercraft December release.  Today's release is called "Vintage Pearl Labels".  This set would be perfect for wedding cards or wedding scrapbook pages.

To begin my card I stamped the "Elegant Fronds" Background stamp with Versamark and applied gold embossing powder.  I then inked the edges with Memento Cantaloupe ink.  The back layer was created using Martha Stewart Deco Fan border/corner punches and then inked with Desert Sand ink.

The center image is included with "Vintage Pearl Labels" set, colored with copics and diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels and Banners die.  The JustRite dies are perfect for making cards fast and easy!!

To create the flower in the lower corner I used Spellbinders Spiral Blossom Three, Nested Leaves, and Foliage 2.

JustRite Papercraft December release Day 3

Good morning everyone.  Have you been enjoying all of the inspiration that you've been seeing from the JustRite design team?  The December stamp sets are gorgeous and today's set is also beautiful.  The set being shown today is called "Antique Valentine Tags One".

To begin my card I chose the Embroidered Background stamp, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  The gold gives the card a very elegant look!  The outside border on the card was created using Martha Stewart Deco Fan border/corner punches.

For the sentiments on my card I chose the "Happy Valentine's Day" from yesterday's release set called "Hugs and Kisses Sentiments".  The frame and sentiment "Hugs and Kisses" is included in "Antique Valentine Tags One" and diecut with JustRite Custom Antique Tags One die.

JustRite Papercraft December Release Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to day 2 of the JustRite Papercraft December release.  Today they are introducing 2 sets - Hugs and Kisses Sentiments and Elegant Damask Background.  My card uses only the Elegant Damask Background but I will have a card tomorrow which uses the Hugs and Kisses Sentiments.

To create the multi-colored Elegant Damask background I used Memento markers and actually colored directly onto the stamp and then stamped onto white cardstock.  This technique takes a lot of time and patience but I really like how it looks.  I think I actually tried getting it right about 7 times!!

All of the sentiments on my card are included in the "Grand Sentiments" stamp set - The sentiment "Thank You" was diecut using Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2, "Dear Friend" was diecut with JustRite Custom Charm dies, and "For Your Kindness" was handcut.

The beautiful ribbon that I used on my card comes from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.  It began as white ribbon but I wanted to match it to my color palette so I colored it with Copic markers.  This ribbon takes Copic colors really well which makes color matching so easy.

JustRite Papercraft December Release Day 1

Good morning everyone.  Are you ready for another week of great JustRite inspiration!!  The December release sets are GORGEOUS and the projects designed by the JustRite design team are going to knock your socks off!! 

Today's stamp is a background stamp called "Cupid Background" - a perfect stamp for Valentine's Day cards, wedding cards, anniversary cards, and even Just Because cards.

I stamped the Cupid Background using Memento Tuxedo Black, added clear embossing powder and heat set it.  The embossing powder gave a nice shine to my card.  Then I colored the background using Copic Markers. 

The sentiment inside the heart is included in "Hugs and Kisses Sentiments", stamped onto pink cardstock, handcut, then I used popdots to lift the heart off the card.  The sentiment below is included in "Antique Valentine Tags One" - "Be Mine" and "Always" are 2 separate stamps, stamped onto white cardstock, diecut using JustRite Antique Tags One dies, then I added more popdots to lift this off the card also.   The hearts are diecut using JustRite Charm dies and embossed using Darice Damask embossing folder.

Amazing Paper Graces December Kit Club

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a cute bookmark I created using the Amazing Paper Graces December Kit dies and stamps.

I used the dies that come in the kit to create the cross.  For the vertical portion I had to cut the paper to make this part longer than the horizontal portion.  It doesn't show because it's behind the horizontal piece.  I inked the edges to give a bit of dimension. 

The gold glitter paper was also diecut using a die from the December kit along with Spellbinders Mega Oval die.  Although it appears that the cross is "floating" over the gold paper, I did diecut a piece of acetate and glued it to the back of the gold paper.

For the sentiment (also included in the Amazing Paper Graces December kit), I first stamped the angel wings onto the paper and then stamped the sentiment over the top of the angel wings using Memento Tuxedo Black.

JustRite Papercraft November Release Day 2

Good morning everyone.  Today is the 2nd day of the JustRite November release.  The sets today are perfect for the guy cards that we all struggle to create.  The sets include a background stamp called "Genuine Friend Background" and "Premium Labels".

To create my card, I started by stamping "Ticking Stripe Background" using Memento Rich Cocoa onto white cardstock.  The letters "D A D" were created with my Cricut and Base Camp cartridge.  The label in the center is included in "Premium Labels" and diecut with JustRite Custom Antique Labels One (a perfect match!).  The sentiment "Happy Birthday" is also included in "Premium Labels" and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 11.

JustRite Papercraft November Release - Day 1

Good morning everyone.  It's that time again to show the next amazing stamps from JustRite Papercraft.  The stamps being shown today are both background stamps and have a bird theme.  Their names are "Wings Of Love Background" and "Song Bird Background".  These 2 backgrounds are GORGEOUS!!  I chose to use "Wings Of Love" for my card today.

I stamped the "Wings Of Love" image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic markers. The words on the postcard are from the "Grand Sentiments" set, stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa.  The beautiful yellow ribbon for my bow was purchased at Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
