Sand Between Your Toes

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to another great JustRite blog hop.  JustRite will be having daily blog hops starting today and going through to Thursday - the focus will be on their new background stamps.  These stamps are awesome - now you don't need to worry about finding the "right" paper - just make your own with JustRite Background Stamps!
Today I decided to create a cute little keepsake box to hold some sand and seashells that I brought home from my honeymoon in Aruba.  I got married in 1997 but still hadn't done anything with these yet - is that called "procrastination"!!

My box is made with acetate, scored at 2 1/4" for each side.  For the top and bottom edges I used the border stamp included in Cast All Your Cares, colored with Copics and diecut with the matching Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilities.

For the background  I stamped the Harlequin Script Background stamp once and placed it inside the box.

When JustRite came out with the set "Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels" I knew that I wanted to use the lighthouse image.  While my husband and I were in Aruba we spent a day visiting an area that had a beautiful lighthouse.  JustRite also has some custom dies that are a perfect match to Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels which makes creating so much easier and faster - no more hand-cutting.

Here is a look at all the stamps used to create my cute little keepsake box

Here are the other JustRite designers also showing some great projects today using JustRite stamps
