Spread Your Wings

Good morning everyone.  I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get my post up this morning - we lost our power yesterday around 5:00 and it just came back on at 9:00 this morning.  Guess that will teach me not to wait until the last minute to write my post **LOL**

Today is another awesome JustRite release called "Spread Your Wings" and comes in cling.  There are some great birdcages as well as some awesome elements in this set.  I chose to create an actual 3-D birdcage out of clay for my project today.  It will make a nice decoration for a desk or little curio cabinet.
I stamped the birdcage 4 times onto gold clay using black Stazon ink.  I also stamped the stand 2 times using black Stazon ink.  Then I hand trimmed the pieces and baked them.
Once the pieces were cooled, I glued them all together and applied Stickles to cover the edges.  The bird image is also included in the "Spread Your Wings" set, stamped onto white cardstock and glued to the inside of the cage.
The sentiment is also included in the "Spread Your Wings" set, stamped and diecut with the JustRite Custom Charm Dies.  To finish the bird stand I added some blue and white trim around the edges.

Here is a look at the entire "Spread Your Wings" set - absolutely beautiful!!
Be sure to check out the other JustRite Designers who will also have projects today using "Spread Your Wings"
