Good morning everyone. Today is another great release day over at JustRite Stampers. They have another cling set called "Kindness" and it even matches Spellbinders Labels 20 - one of the new CHA releases - how cool is that!!
Before I get to my project today I wanted to talk a bit about the new toy that I received from Spellbinders - their new Grand Calibur die cutting machine. This machine is AWESOME!! No more having to diecut one shape at a time. The opening on the Grand Calibur is 8 1/2"!!! If you notice the little white lever on the bottom of the machine - this operates a suction mat underneath the machine so you just put the Grand Calibur where you want it on your table, flip this lever, and the machine STAYS still - it doesn't move around the table as you are diecutting (like many of the other machines out there). The embossing results that this machine does is incredible too. You can check out Kathy Jones' blog post here - she has some great photos showing the embossing.
The Grand Calibur is a must have for anyone that loves to diecut (and who doesn't right?) Below is a photo of mine. You will definitely fall in love with this die cutting machine as fast as I did.
Okay, I guess I will talk about my card now **LOL**
Like I said above, my card uses a brand new cling set called "Kindness". This set includes 2 great frames as well as great sentiments and decorative elements. I chose the frame that coordinates with the new Spellbinders Labels 20 which is being released at CHA next week. I don't happen to have these dies (yet) so I had to handcut the frame as well as the black mat. The center circle is the perfect size to use some of the JustRite 1 5/8" stamps too - don't forget to mix and match your stamp sets. I chose a center from the "Birthday Sentiments" set and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Circles.
My card base was embossed with the Cuttlebug Victoria embossing folder. The black border is created with Martha Stewart Quilted border punch.
The sentiment on the bottom corner also comes in the "Kindness" cling set. I matted it onto black cardstock that was diecut with the new JustRite Custom Nested Sentiment Dies and Custom Nested Frame Dies.
Here is a look at the 2 stamp sets used to create this card:
Some of my fellow JustRite Design team members are also showing projects using the "Kindness" set today. You can check out their blogs (after 6:00 CST) today for more inspiration.

Your card is great. The Grand Calibur is definitely on my wish list, along with the new JustRite stamps. I like the new blog design - the lavendar background is lovely - but I miss the picture of your girls by the lake. It was so peaceful looking.
Absolutely Beautiful Angela!!! Love the pop of black, the fabulous embossing and the way you've mixed and matched the stamps shows such wonderful versatility!!!
Pink and purple, it just can't get better then that, so pretty and the Grand Calibur, is going on my wish list along with the rest, thank you for sharing. :)
