Justrite Friday Challenge - sketch_042

Good morning everyone.  Today I am playing along with the sketch challenge at JustRite.  I have included the great sketch below.  The sketch challenge is being sponsored by Inchie Arts - I have seen these "inchies" on several blogs but I had never tried them.  They are easy to use and gives projects some great dimension.

Here are the details on Inchie Arts:
Inchie Arts offers three different sizes of the highest quality artist grade matteboard squares: 1” (Inchie), 1-1/2” (Inchie +) and 2” (Twinchie).  All of their products are fade resistant, acid free, lignin free and solid core color through and through.  The material is designed to receive whatever art medium (wet or dry) you use in your coloring and embellishments - from stamping to watercolors, chalks, inks, pens, markers, stains and more.  They are available in black, dark gray, light gray, wheat, dark cream, ivory and white; as individual packages or assortment packs.

I am also using a sentiment from the new JustRite Cling set.
My designer paper is from the Ancestry.com Designer Paper stack as well as DCWV cardstock.  I created the wide border beneath my stamped image by using the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch.

The sketch called for a square image.  For this I used 2 different Inchie's.  On the larger Inchie, I stamped a border from the JustRite Decorative Frames Borders using Olive Versacolor, then I applied clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.  I used the Versacolor because it seemed to stay "wetter" long enough to apply the embossing powder.  For the sentiment, I stamped a sentiment from the "Simple Blessing" cling set onto a smaller Inchie that I cut to fit into the Decorative Frames Border.  Finally, I matted everything onto a brown mat diecut with Spellbinders Labels 15.

Here is a look at the complete "Simple Blessings" cling set:

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Have a great weekend!!
