Good morning everyone. Today I have created a card using some of the new Christmas sets being previewed this week over at the JustRite blog. Today Debbie Olson, Barb Schram, Sharon Harnist, and Kazan Clark all have projects using the Ornament stamp set . Be sure to check out the JustRite blog this entire week as they showcase some really great Christmas Stamps. It is never too early to get started on Christmas Cards.
There are some great sentiments in these sets which are perfect for the INSIDE of your cards. How many of us have always had to either hand write a sentiment or print one from the computer. Now with these new sentiments the work is done for you.
Another great thing happening over at JustRite is that they are now carrying ALL colors of the Memento Inks!! These inks work great if you are coloring with Copics. These are available to order right now. You can find them by clicking here
For my card, I chose a border and center from the "Christmas Ornaments" set. I stamped the ornament 3 times, colored them with Copics and handcut them. Then I scored each in the center and adhered them together. I stamped the border seperately and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Circles and Inverted Circles. The mats were diecut with Spellbinders Classic Scallop Circles.
My sentiment comes from the "Christmas Nested Frames". I used only the center image then diecut it with Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio and added ribbon.
The photos above and below show the dimension that I gave to my card by stamping the ornament 3 times and handcutting.
As I said earlier, these new sentiment stamps are perfect for the inside of our cards. The photo below shows the inside of my card. I chose a sentiment from the "Christmas Nested Sentiments and Verse" set. The border comes from the "Christmas Nested Frames" set.
The photos below show the complete stamp sets that were used in my card.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit today. Have a great day!!!
