Have Faith

Good morning everyone.  I hope everyone had a chance to join the awesome 3-day JustRite blog hop.  If you haven't you still have a chance to enter comments from Day 2 of the hop until 6:00 p.m. EST tonight.  You will have time to enter comments from Day 3 of the hop until 6:00 p.m. EST Saturday night.  The inspiration that you will get from these projects are undescribable and don't forget about the awesome prize packages up for grabs.

For my card today, I am playing along with the Friday challenge over at the JustRite blog.  This week's challenge was to create a sympathy card.  These type of cards are always so difficult to create because of the occasion behind them.  But with the "Thinking Of You" stamp set by JustRite, it makes it a bit easier.

My paper comes from the DCWV Linen Closet stack and the cardstock is also DCWV.  I stamped the border & center onto paper from this stack and diecut it with Spellbinders Ovals & Scallop Ovals Nestabilities.

The "have Faith" stamp comes from the "Tiny Words" borders & centers set (JustRite).  This was diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4 and matted onto cream cardstock diecut with Spellbinders Labels 8.

The "lacy" strip was made using the Martha Stewart Scallop 3-dot border punch.  I punched one side, decided what width that I wanted, cut it, and then punched the other side.  It makes these punches more versatile.
Below is a look at the "Thinking Of You" stamp set.  The borders & centers are interchangeable so you can mix and match them.  This set includes some really nice sayings perfect for sympathy cards.

Below is a look at the "Tiny Words" borders and centers set.  This stamp set is 1 3/16" size.  As you can see from my card, just because a stamp set is round, doesn't mean that it needs to be used that way.

Thanks for stopping in for a visit today.  Have a great weekend!!!
