For my card today, I decided to make a Fall card since it is getting to be that time of the year.  I chose a border and center from JustRite  Autumn Blessings, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Copics and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals.  Next I matted them onto the Want2Scrap Labels 11 Nestaboard and added Labels 11 Nestabling (also available from Want2Scrap).  Both  of these items are a perfect match to the Spellbinders Labels 11 dies making cardmaking fast and easy!!

The sentiment along the bottom is from the JustRite Nature Nested Sentiments and diecut with JustRite Custom Nested Sentiment Dies.  To finish off the Fall theme, I diecut 2 maple leaves using the Spellbinders Nested Maple Leaves die.

Shabby Chic

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the last day of the JustRite September release.  Even though there were only 3 releases for September they are amazing sets!!  Today's set is called "Shabby Chic Labels 4" and comes as a cling set.  This set has some gorgeous elements to color as well as some nice sentiments.  This set is also compatible with the Spellbinders Labels 4 dies which makes it very easy to use and diecut.

I knew that I wanted my card to be  "shabby chic" and "frilly" so I pulled out my box of ribbons and lace.  I didn't have any large flower elements so I decided to make my own.  To make it, I just took several loops of ribbon along with some straight strands of ribbon glued all together then added mini roses and a large rose.

My sentiments are from the "Shabby Chic Labels Four" cling set, stamped with Memento Rose Bud and then diecut using the JustRite Charm dies.  Of course I needed to add lots of pearls to dress it up even more!

Greetings From Paris

Good morning everyone.  Did you enjoy looking at the awesome JustRite projects yesterday?  Well if you did then get ready for another awesome day of inspiration!  Today's set is called "Greetings From Paris".  This is another great cling set with 13 stamps. 

I went with more of a vintage look for my card.  I used several of the images in this set to create my own background paper stamping with  Memento Rich Cocoa and Memento Tuxedo Black.  I stamped all of the main images with Memento Rich Cocoa.  Many of the elements in this set work perfectly with Spellbinders Labels 4 which is what I used to diecut the 2 larger images.  Of course I had to add several Kaiser pearls to dress it up a bit.

Bon Voyage

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the JustRite September introduction.  The September releases are going to blow you away!!!  These sets were a huge hit at CHA and I think everyone is going to love using these - I know that I did!

The set used today is called "Bon Voyage" and comes as a cling set.  This set has 13 stamps with the theme of Paris - makes you want to hop on a plane and go on vacation. 

I chose the tower as my focal point, stamping it 3 times onto pink polka dot paper.  To give it a fancy "Paris" feeling, I matted each onto a light green Spellbinders Fancy Tags 2 with some Kaiser pearls added.  For my sentiment, I chose "Thinking Of You" from the "Just Because" Mini Sentiments set (JustRite) with more Kaiser pearls added.

Season's Greetings

Good morning everyone.  Today is an exciting day because the JustRite Friday Challenges are BACK!!!  By popular demand, JustRite has decided to bring back the very popular Friday Challenges - 2nd and 4th Friday's every month.  Now is your chance to win some of the really awesome stamp sets that are on your wish list.

Today's challenge is to create a shaped Christmas card.  I decided to make a snowglobe card.  The snowglobe was created using my Cricut Expression along with the Doodlecharms cartridge.  The globe portion was cut a second time out of acetate, then I stamped snowflakes from the "Sparky and Friends" set using StazOn Azure ink onto the backside of the acetate.  The yellow portion was cut and then embossed using the Cuttlebug Herringbone embossing folder.

My cute little snowmen are from the "Blizzard Bunch" stamp set, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  I also stamped more snowflakes (Sparky and Friends stamp set) around the snowmen using Memento Summer Sky ink.  The sentiment "Season's Greetings" is from the "Mini Christmas Sentiments" set and diecut using the JustRite Custom Nested Frame Dies.

Have Courage

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the 2nd JustRite August Release set.  Today is another great Cancer awareness stamp set called "Be Strong".  This set also happens to be the first clear stamp set by JustRite.  It stamps as perfectly as the cling stamp. 

JustRite Crafting For a Cause

In an effort to find an early diagnostic test or screening tool for Ovarian Cancer, JustRite Crafting For a Cause will donate 20% of the sales from Be Strong and Courage and Strength in 2011 to Ovarian Cancer Research. The center blue ribbon and oval border are included in the "Be Strong" set.  I handcut the ribbon and then applied clear embossing powder to give it a glossy look.  The border is diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals and matted onto Classic Scallop Ovals and Labels 11 - these dies are a perfect match for this "Be Strong" set.

The sentiments in the upper and lower corners are also included in the "Be Strong" stamp set as well as the butterflies and decorative corners. 

Here is a look at the entire "Be Strong" set - there are so many awesome elements in this set - another must have in anyone's collection.  This set is perfect for those hard-to-do sympathy cards that we all struggle to create.

Be Strong

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the JustRite August release.  For the month of August, JustRite is releasing 2 awesome new sets.  Both sets have the same theme - cancer awareness.  We all have a family member or friend who have been affected by cancer.  My mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer is 2001.  Luckily it was diagnosed early enough so that she is now cancer free.

Hi! I am Amy Tedder, the illustrator and graphic designer for JustRite, I am celebrating 6 years of being ovarian cancer free! I am hoping you will join me in the JustRite Crafting For a Cause Fundraiser.

Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest cancers because it goes unnoticed for years. They call it the “silent killer.” Most women can shrug off the symptoms as other things. My only symptom was that I was so tired. “But...having 3 children will do that to you!” My regular doctor found my cancer when I was 39 years old and scheduled me an appointment with the best oncologist in South Carolina. My doctor found my cancer because he took a risk and ran a test that my insurance might not have covered.

Today, we need to encourage all the women we know and love to go for their yearly check ups. If there is any kind of family cancer they need to insist on having the lab work done. I am finding that each woman has to be her own advocate. No one else will automatically do it for us. We have to schedule the appointments, WE have to request the tests, WE have to look for ways to protect our own health and take time to take care of ourselves. Just make your appointment and make your mother, sisters and friends schedule their appointments!

“During my cancer recovery I was blessed to receive cards and notes from friends to encourage me. My hope is that you will use these stamps to encourage your loved ones that are the care givers or are fighting cancer. “

Today's release is called "Strength and Courage" which is so fitting for anyone affected by cancer.  This set comes as a large oval interlocking set with 4 centers and 4 borders.

For my card I chose to use only a center from "Strength and Courage", stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto the same K & Co designer paper that I used as a layer on the card base.  I also diecut a piece of dark brown cardstock using Spellbinders Labels 10 and Petite Ovals.  For the decorative bottom edge, I diecut 2 Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Borders in yellow and brown and layered them.

The sentiment "Be Strong" is a sneak peak at the JustRite set being showcased tomorrow, diecut with the JustRite Cusom Charm Dies (a perfect fit).  The yellow ribbon was also stamped using a stamp from the set being shown tomorrow.  Be sure to come back tomorrow to see that set.
