Winter Words

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the final day of the JustRite November release.  Today's release is called "Winter Words" and comes as a clear set.  This set covers lots of events from December through February.  A must have for every card maker and scrapbooker.

I decided to alter a plain white mailbox that I found at Target for $1.00.  The width of the mailbox was the perfect size for 3 stamped hearts.  I also added a lacy border from the "Lace Borders" set in between each row of hearts. 

The side view shows how great the hearts fit.  The sentiment "Be Mine" is also part of the "Winter Words" set. 

 For the front of the mailbox I decided to add a large heart diecut with Spellbinders Classic Hearts and matted onto Spellbinders Classic Scallop Hearts.  The sentiment "Happy Valentines Day" is also part of the "Winter Words" set.  Don't you just love this font!!!   Another cool part of this set are these cute little sentiments (Be Mine, Love U, XOXO)  They are really tiny but such a great addition.

JustRite Background Stamps

Good morning and welcome to Part 2 of the JustRite November release. Today JustRite is introducing 2 new stamps - Vintage Wallpaper Background and Scrolled Vine Background - both of these are cling background stamps.  These new background stamps are gorgeous - perfect for cards as well as scrapbook pages.

My first card uses "Vintage Wallpaper Background" stamp. I stamped it once using Memento Bamboo Leaves and then again using Memento Cottage Ivy. The sentiment is from "Friendship Nested Sentiments", dual stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Cottage Ivy and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 17. To finish up I added a bow, flowers, and Kaiser pearls.

My second card uses the "Scrolled Vine Background" stamp.  It is stamped with Memento Bahama Blue and colored with Copics.  The center portion of this background stamp is perfect for inserting a sentiment from the wide array of JustRite Nested Sentiment sets.  I chose to do something different by adding a border made with the Martha Stewart Diamond Fence Trim border punch.  Next I added a beautiful stamped heart charm from "Elegant Charms" and diecut with the JustRite Custom Charm Dies.

For my project I decided it was time to scrapbook Christmas from last year!  I am so far behind on my scrapbook pages but at least now I am one page closer to being done.  In case you may be wondering, the black and white "creature" that Santa is holding happens to be my oldest daughter's guinea pig Oreo - he believes in Santa too!

I used several JustRite Christmas Stamps to create my layout.  Here is the breakdown:

Merry and Bright - Christmas Ornaments, sentiment inside upper ornament
Sparky The Snowman - snowflakes stamped onto background page

Santa was created using my Cricut Expression along with Paper Dolls Dressup cartridge set on size 6.  The top portion of the door was embossed using the Cuttlebug Tiffany embossing folder.  I also added blue stickles to the centers of the snowflakes.

Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty

Today I decided to create an 8 x 8 scrapbook page of my 2 girls.  Even though they are 11 years apart they are very close.  I had always wanted a sister when I was younger but I'm happy that I have my brother - we are also very close.  Family is very important!!

The decorative elements in the corners are from "Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty" set from JustRite.  As the name suggests it is a perfect match for the Spellbinders Labels 20 which makes creating so much easier.  I stamped the larger frame and the smaller frame then stacked them together. 

The words "Sisters" and "Girlfriends" are from the "Because I Care"  set - also from JustRite.  These sentiments fit perfectly into the center of the frames.  If you look closely you can see some randomly stamped blue butterflies.  These butterflies are also stamped onto the 3 hearts along the right side.  These butterflies are also included in the "Fleur De Lis Labels Twenty" set.

Topsy Turvy Cakes

Today's release set is called "Topsy Turvy Cakes" and comes as a clear stamp set.  This is a very fun set to play with - these cakes are sooo cute!!  The sentiments in this set are really nice too for any type of birthday cards.

Today I created a cupcake shaped birthday card using "Topsy Turvy Cakes", colored with Copics, and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals and Classic Scallop Ovals.  I added glitter along the edges of each layer to bling it up.

My card base is created using the Grand Mark Roller Die Cutting System along with the Cupcake die.  The top of the cupcake is embossed with Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.  Of course I had to add more glitter to bling it up!

I decided to alter a notepad cube that I had just laying around waiting for me to do something with it.  Prior to covering the box, I stamped design elements from the "Musical Notes Labels Twenty" set.  These corner elements are fun to work with.  Next I stamped "Just A Note" - also in this set - and diecut it with the JustRite Custom Nested Sentiment Dies (Perfect fit!).  The musical notes are also included in "Musical Notes Labels Twenty".  The decorative border along the top is the Martha Stewart Deco Fan border punch.
