Easter Blessings

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to the last day of the JustRite background stamp blog hopping.  Today the background stamps being featured are Ticking Stripe Background and Stitched Ribbon Background.
When I saw the Stitched Ribbon Background stamp I automatically thought of Easter Eggs - this is a perfect stamp to create decorative Easter Eggs.  My eggs are diecut using Spellbinders Classic Ovals and then stamped with the Stitched Ribbon Background

The card base is diecut using Spellbinders Scallop Edge Frame and colored with a yellow Copic marker.  The sunflower is made using Spellbinders Sunflower set 2 and inked with Memento Tangelo.  The sunflower center comes from the Spring Words set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black.  The cute little butterflies are a stamp included in the Fleur de Lis Labels Twenty set.

Here are the stamp sets used today:

Good Luck

Good morning everyone.  Today the JustRite design team have more great projects using the new JustRite Background Stamps.  Today's stamp sets are "Chevron Stripe Background" and "Spring Words".
Since St. Patrick's Day is this weekend I decided to make a card with that theme.  My card base is diecut using the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Rectangles.  I colored the little parts along the sides with Copics.
The background is created using Chevron Stripe Background stamped with Versacolor Sage.  The sentiment - good luck - is included in "Spring Words" stamped directly onto the background using Memento Cottage Ivy.

To create my shamrock I diecut 3 Spellbinders Classic Hearts and 3 Spellbinders Classic Scallop Hearts and embossed them with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots.

Here are the stamp sets that I used today:

Boudoir Tissue Box Cover

Good morning everyone.  Before we start today I need to let you know that the JustRite Original Stamp Retirement Sales Ends March 21st. After March 21st all these great stamp sets will return to full price. These are the lowest JustRite Original Prices of the Year!  Fill up those wish lists before March 21!!!

Today the JustRite design team are showing projects using the new JustRite border stamps.  These stamp sets are great for cardmaking, scrapbooking or home decor.  I decided to make a home decor project.
I created my tissue box by following the great instructions that I found on Splitcoaststampers.  You can find the instructions here.

For my box base (sides and top) I used the Harlequin Script Background stamp, applied clear embossing powder and heat set it.  The paper I used is Robin's Nest polished stone from Murdock Country Creations.  This polished stone paper is AWESOME!!  There are several different colors and has a white core which is nice if you want to sand it.  Anyone that might like to get some of this great paper can send Kellie an email at kfortin@megalink.net.

For the tissue opening I chose a frame from "Just Keep Calm" set and diecut with JustRite Custom Nested Oval Medallion Labels.

Along the top and bottom of the box I chose borders from "Lace Borders Two".  The dark purple edge along the top was created using Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles.

Here is a look at the stamp sets used to create this tissue box

Paris Themed Candle

Good morning everyone.  Today the JustRite design team has some great projects using more of the new JustRite Background stamps.

I decided to create a beautiful candle using the JustRite Fleur De Lis Background stamp as my base.  To "stamp" on a candle simply stamp your image onto white tissue paper, cut it out, place it onto the candle, and then "melt" it into the candle using a heat embossing tool.  Once the candle is heated it works like a glue and the tissue paper sticks to the candle.  It's a great way to dress up any plain white candle.  Each of the white "dots" on the background are actually white head pins that I pressed into the candle.

After I applied the background stamp I stamped the lacey border from "Classic Scallop Borders One", diecut with Spellbinders Classic Scallop Edgeabilities and applied to the top edge of the candle.  Each of the black "dots" are also black head pins pressed into the candle.

Next I added the lacey ribbon and pearls along the bottom edge of the candle.  Next  I chose an image from the "Greeting From Paris" set, stamped and diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.  To finish of my candle I added a pretty flower and bow.

Here are the stamp sets used to create my candle.

Sand Between Your Toes

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to another great JustRite blog hop.  JustRite will be having daily blog hops starting today and going through to Thursday - the focus will be on their new background stamps.  These stamps are awesome - now you don't need to worry about finding the "right" paper - just make your own with JustRite Background Stamps!
Today I decided to create a cute little keepsake box to hold some sand and seashells that I brought home from my honeymoon in Aruba.  I got married in 1997 but still hadn't done anything with these yet - is that called "procrastination"!!

My box is made with acetate, scored at 2 1/4" for each side.  For the top and bottom edges I used the border stamp included in Cast All Your Cares, colored with Copics and diecut with the matching Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilities.

For the background  I stamped the Harlequin Script Background stamp once and placed it inside the box.

When JustRite came out with the set "Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels" I knew that I wanted to use the lighthouse image.  While my husband and I were in Aruba we spent a day visiting an area that had a beautiful lighthouse.  JustRite also has some custom dies that are a perfect match to Oceanside Oval Medallion Labels which makes creating so much easier and faster - no more hand-cutting.

Here is a look at all the stamps used to create my cute little keepsake box
