JustRite CHA Release Day 12

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 12 of JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called Sympathy Vintage Labels and coordinates with JustRite Vintage Label and Banners.

I don't know about you, but I don't really like making sympathy cards.  They are so hard to do because the occasion is very sad.  Recently a good friend of mine lost her mom unexpectedly.  She was very close to her mom as we all are.  I wanted to make sure that the card I made would give her some sort of comfort.

I created several layers of blue and ivory as a base to my card.  The top layer uses JustRite Floral Flourishes Background stamp.  The focal image and sentiment is from Sympathy Vintage Labels, colored with copics and diecut using JustRite Vintage Label and Banners.  The sentiment on the bottom is also included in this set - I just stamped it onto blue cardstock and handcut it.

JustRite CHA Release Day 11

Good morning.  Welcome to another great day of JustRite CHA releases.  Today's release is call French Rose Background.  It's a beautiful background stamp. 

I love to use the JustRite background stamps to decorate candles.  It is so easy to take a simple Dollar Tree candle and turn it into a beautiful home decor item.  "Stamping" on a candle is so easy.  Just stamp the image onto white tissue paper, hold the image against the candle, and use a heat gun to "melt" the tissue paper into the candle.  Just be careful not to hold the heat gun in one area for too long because it will melt the candle too much causing excessive wax.

I stamped the French Rose Background twice onto white tissue paper and "melted" it onto the candle.  The beautiful ribbon used on my candle came from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon store.  Around the top of the candle I added pearls onto pins, pushed into the candle and then applied copper Stickles.

These candles make great gift ideas.  I urge you to give it a try.

JustRite CHA Release Day 10

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 10 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called "For All You Do Vintage Labels Three" and coordinates with JustRite Vintage Labels Three dies.

Today I have created a thank you card using For All You Do Vintage Labels Three.  I stamped the frame and sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa and then diecut using JustRite Vintage Labels Three.  I edged each layer with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.  I also used a decorative element from this stamp set for the right side panel.

JustRite CHA Release Day 9

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 9 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's set is called "Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine" and coordinates with Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Nine dies.

This photo is of my oldest daughter Heather and her best friend since nursery school - Jessica

I am continuing to  make an 8 x 8 album of my daughter Heather's wedding.  Today I used the floral image from Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine and colored them yellow to match the flowers in Heather's bouquet.  Then I handcut the flowers and popped them up on the page using pop-dots.

I loved the verse from this set because it expressed the close relationship that these 2 girls have.  The verse is from Poppies Labels Twenty-Nine and stamped inside a frame from For All You Do Vintage Labels Three diecut with JustRite Vintage Labels Three.  I also used a portion of the Genuine Friend Background stamp and highlighted some of the sentiments in blue.

The decorative corners in the lower portion of the page are diecut using Spellbinders Botanical Swirls and Accents.  The decorative corners around the top portion of the photo are from Spellbinders French Frills.

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 8 of JustRite CHA releases.  Today's set is called "Butterfly Dreams".  I am continuing my 8 x 8 scrapbook pages of my oldest daughter's wedding. 

This photo is of my daughter with her Maid Of Honor and Bridesmaids

To create my page I used Spellbinders Grand Decorative Circles One, adding color along the edges with my airbrush system. 

I used several JustRite stamps to create my page.

JustRite CHA Release Day 7

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 7 of the JustRite CHA release.  Today's release set is called "Circles Of Love Vintage Labels Three". 

My card has many layers and uses several different JustRite stamps.  The base of my card uses Embroidered Background stamped and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.   The border across the bottom of the card is stamped with Classic Art Deco Lace Edges One and diecut using Spellbinders Classic Edges One die. 

The focal point on my card uses Circle Of Love Vintage Labels Three, stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  To diecut the different layers I used JustRite Custom Vintage Labels Three die - a perfect combination for layering.

JustRite CHA Release Day 5

Good morning everyone.  Welcome to Day 5 of JustRite CHA releases.  As you are reading this post I am on my way to California to attend CHA.  It is so much fun to see all of my "blogland" friends and see all of the awesome new products coming out.  It also doesn't hurt that I will be leaving chilly Maine for sunny California.!

The stamp set today is called "Ornate Happiness Squares" and is designed by Samantha Walker.  She has also designed some Spellbinders dies that match perfectly!!

I don't know about you, but I don't have my photo taken very often.  I'm usually the one behind the camera.  At my oldest daughter's wedding in September the photographer (Thanks Kellie!!) took this photo of my husband and I.  The sentiments in "Ornate Happiness Squares" seemed like a perfect match for my photo.  I stamped each individual sentiment and used a Stampin' Up punch to punch them out.
