Good morning everyone. I had a very busy and exciting weekend. My oldest daughter got married on Saturday. The ceremony was amazing!! The weather even cooperated with us - the forecast was for a chance of rain and thunder which didn't begin until well after all of the photos were taken!! My daughter was beautiful in her gown and her husband looked so handsome in his tux. Now they are on their way to Disney in Florida. I'm sure they will have a great honeymoon.
Today JustRite Papercraft is introducing a stamp set from their September release Today's release set is called "Grand Sentiments" and comes in clear and has lots of great sentiments, frames and little embellishment images.
I decided to start out by making 3 panels for the base of my card. I really like the way the panels add lots of dimension to a card. The sentiment is from the "Grand Sentiments" set diecut with Spellbinders Labels 4.
The beautiful frame under the sentiment is also included in "Grand Sentiments" and is a perfect match to Spellbinders Labels 8 making diecutting extremely easy.
The final mat layer is diecut using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8. The butterfly is also included in "Grand Sentiments" - I stamped it with Versamark and added 4 layers of embossing powder to give it a shiny look and made it easier to curl the wings to give it the appearance of flying.
Here is a look at the entire "Grand Sentiments" set - a great addition to everyone's stamp collection.
Here are the other JustRite designer's links that will also be showing some great projects today using Grand Sentiments.
