Good morning everyone. Today I am playing along with the JustRite Friday Challenge - Anything but Square" - Create a card or project in any shape but square.
My card base is created using Spellbinders Floral Ovals with glitter applied to the edges. The next layer was created using the JustRite Elegant Fronds background stamp, stamped with VersaMagic Aloe Vera and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals. The next layer is diecut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals with more glitter added. The inner layer was created using the JustRite Elegant Fronds background, stamped with VersaMagic Aloe Vera and diecut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals. The sentiment comes in the Warm and Cozy Medallion Labels set, stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves.
The strands of pearls that are added along the outer edges of the Classic Ovals were purchased from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. They come in a strand making it very easy to apply to any project. The beautiful green bow at the top of my card is also some great ribbon from Sharon's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I have always been extremely ribbon/bow challenged but once I got this awesome ribbon I figured out why I have always been bow challenged - I needed the right kind of ribbon!!
Be sure to give the JustRite Friday challenge a try - you could win some really cool stamps!!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit. My weekend will consist of a birthday party on Saturday for our Jack Russell Terrier Zoe who is celebrating her first birthday. And on Sunday my oldest daughter and her fiance' are coming to my house to work on wedding flower arrangements. I guess my weekend will be busy!!! I hope you all have a great weekend too.
